Afro Nation Portugal has unveiled the first major artist wave for its June 9–11, 2027 return to Praia da Rocha in Portimão. Davido, Rema and Fally Ipupa lead the announcement, joined by Omah Lay, Shenseea, Victony, Odeal, Valiant, Rayvanny and others.
The festival also separates amapiano and premium electronic programming through its Piano People and Afrotronic VIP stages. Beyond the lineup, the operational model is equally significant: on-site spending is handled through a cashless RFID wristband system, topped up before or during the festival.
Afro Nation says it is working with Nimbus Disability and the Access Card scheme for a fourth year. Services include assisted entry and exit, a hard-surface route around the sand, an Accessible Viewing Platform, ramp access and accessible toilets.
Presale is scheduled for September 29 and general sale for September 30. An opening party on June 8 and a closing party on June 12 extend the monetisable visitor stay beyond the three main festival days.
