ATOLL Festival 2026: 10,000+ visitors, sold-out shows and Bamboo on 24 September

The first week of ATOLL Festival 2026 welcomed over 10,000 visitors in Karlsruhe. According to the official summary by the organisers on 23 September, the opening night attracted over 2,000 spectators, while the free Children's and Family Day saw well over 3,000 participants. Several productions reached full capacity.

The festival runs until 27 September and continues with a strong programme today, 24 September. According to the official website, the second performance of the German premiere of Bamboo by NoFit State Circus begins at 20:00; Julian Vogel's Ceramic Circus is also on display today.

The figures are of business interest as the festival simultaneously utilises paid performances and a large, free community day. The free family programme builds crowds and a new audience, while the sold-out shows and ticket shortages for limited-capacity evening performances provide strong demand signals.
