Nearly 60 artists in one anniversary announcement
Azkena Rock Festival revealed the full programme for its 25th anniversary edition on 30 September 2026. The festival takes place at Mendizabala in Vitoria-Gasteiz from 17 to 19 June 2027.
The leading names include Patti Smith, Bad Religion, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Marilyn Manson and Wilco. The organiser says Patti Smith, Bad Religion and Slash will each play their only Spanish show of 2027. The bill also includes The Waterboys, 16 Horsepower, Dave Alvin & The Guilty Ones, Billy Bragg, Beth Hart, Rival Sons, Billy Talent, Michael Monroe and many more rock, punk, folk and blues acts.
A new stage for roots music
One of the anniversary edition’s key product developments is Strawhouse, a new rustic and intimate stage dedicated to acoustic folk, country and blues. Nick Lowe, Dave Hause, Lilly Hiatt, Joana Serrat and Tulsa are among the artists scheduled there.
Strawhouse is more than another programme area. It can become a distinct sponsorship and hospitality zone with longer dwell time, premium seating or lounge options, themed food and drink and editorial content opportunities.
Segmented tickets and instalments
The official announcement lists a €145 ARF Community pass, a €150 promotional pass, a €135 Gaztea ticket for people under 24 and a €125 Cuadrilla product designed for groups of six friends. Children under 14 can enter free after completing an advance form.
Customers can also use payment plans, while the festival operates dedicated coaches from several nearby cities. Selling admission and transport together reduces travel friction and generates more useful first-party data about visitor routes.
Anniversary as a commercial product
A dedicated merchandise package accompanies the 25th anniversary, and returning visitors receive an exclusive sales window. This is a logical extension of alumni-based CRM: the festival sells not only the current artists but also membership of its community.
