Carrie Underwood is the first announced headliner for Barefoot Country Music Fest 2027, which returns to Wildwood, New Jersey, from 17–20 June 2027.
The announcement deliberately draws on festival history: Underwood also headlined the inaugural 2021 edition, when around 30,000 fans stayed through heavy rain from Tropical Storm Henri.
The ticketing architecture is particularly developed. Beyond GA, the festival sells Main Stage VIP and Super VIP. Super VIP includes an elevated viewing platform, front-of-stage access, a $500 beverage credit, premium dining and air-conditioned facilities. Ten-person luxury chalets add a private bartender and concierge and can be customised with company branding.
A limited payment plan lowers the purchase barrier further, allowing a four-day GA ticket to be secured with a $19 initial payment.
The structure shows how one festival can support mass-market admission, premium hospitality and B2B entertainment products at the same time.
