Rochester Regional Health Rochester International Jazz Festival is launching a seven-concert Innovation Jazz Series, extending the June festival brand into a year-round programme.
The inaugural 2026–27 season runs from 15 October 2026 to 6 May 2027 at The Theater at Innovation Square. Artists include New York Voices on their Farewell Tour, The Groover Quartet, CONNECTED featuring Richie Goods and Chien Chien Lu, John Pizzarelli Trio, Bria Skonberg, The Sergio Mendes Band and Ulysses Owens Jr. and Generation Y.
The ticket model is deliberately subscription-like. A seven-show Series Pass costs $182.43 including fees, which organisers say saves 40% compared with buying all seven individual tickets. Individual tickets cost $47.63 and go on sale on 1 October.
The business logic is notable: rather than trying to replicate a nine-day summer festival year-round, the brand uses smaller recurring events to create steadier cash flow, more sponsorship inventory and continuous CRM engagement.
The model is transferable to other festival brands through club series, city concerts, branded talks and seasonal premium events.
