Amon Amarth will headline ROCKHARZ 2027, the German metal festival announced on 7 October 2026. Organisers revealed the news after the band’s album release show in Essen and promised another wave of ten acts on 9 October.
The four-day ROCKHARZ takes place from 7–10 July 2027 at Ballenstedt-Asmusstedt airfield. Official festival information says more than 50 bands will perform across two equally ranked open-air stages.
The announcement lands in an exceptionally strong demand environment: the festival website says all 2027 festival tickets are sold out. Registration of interest remains open for the official secondary ticket marketplace, an important safety measure that directs resale demand toward a controlled channel.
The complete ten-band announcement is scheduled for 4pm on 9 October, with a 3:45pm premiere on the organiser’s official YouTube channel. FestivalTV is not rebroadcasting or embedding that public video because technical availability alone does not establish retransmission rights.
From a business perspective, a sold-out event combined with an early major headliner gives partners unusually secure reach. Travel, camping, premium hospitality and services around the official resale channel are logical commercial priorities, while anti-fraud messaging should remain prominent.

Summary
